Princess of Colors

01.2022 -> 10.2022

Princess of Colors is a video game project currently in development, in which you throw dice that deploy on a board. Each die has environment-related effects that help you dodge attacks and inflict damage to enemies.

I did both music and sound design for this project, taking inspiration from games such as Yoshi’s Crated World and Tearaway: Unfolded.

Michael Ghelfi Studios’ SFX Database

06.2022 -> today

Michael Ghelfi Studios is a group of people crafting audio for the tabletop roleplaying games community. Each month, music tracks are written by Filip Melvan, while Michael Ghelfi makes ambiences. I’m in charge of the one-shot sound effects that can be triggered by the Dungeon Master when players cast a spell, or get hit by a monster.

We have a new theme each month, for which I produce 10-20 new sounds. I also craft 10-20 other, theme-unrelated, more casual sounds monthly.

Nugget of a Dream

PEPITE Bretagne is a one-year course every student can take in France to enhance their entrepreneur skills. After a few months of teaching me business and negotiation, they asked me to record a song they would be able to feature during their conferences. Here we are!

La Main à l’Oreille

04.2021 -> 06.2021

La Main à l’Oreille is an artistic project imagined by Bérengère Amiot and Electroni[K]. I joined the project on its second year, with my mate Ralph Ratrimoarivony, following Lucie Le Guen. During a couple months, we joined two classes and crafted digital artistic objects with them. Since this school had a lot of pupils whose first language weren’t French, our goal was to create ways for kids to be proud of their first language and to accelerate their learning in French.

The first one was a puzzle with RFID chips on the back of the pieces that triggered a recorded sentence that helped pupils remember the number written on the piece. Each number from 11 to 16 was written on 3 different pieces, in a different language.

The second one was a world map with 3D printed buttons in the shape of different countries. When a button is pressed, you hear a poem in French, that comes from the country you touched, followed by their original version. Both versions were recorded by the pupils, and they also discovered foley recording by making sound design that can be heard behind their voices.

2021 Wish Card – Workshop with kids

12.2020 -> 02.2021

I held a week-long workshop in Bain-de-Bretagne, with teenagers from 13 to 18 years old, during which we recorded music and foley for a short animated video. This video was also made by them, during another workshop held by Janis Aussel.
